Online Registration

Online registration is now open for various CISV activities. You log in to this site to register:

Family Page

The Family Members section lists the members of the family, including the main contact (shown by one asterisk*). If you are a new family, you will be prompted to complete your contact information when you first access the Family Page. If you are a returning family, edit the main contact using the pencil to the left of your name. Enter the number of adults and children in the family. This will prompt you to complete contact information for each family member, as well as a non-family emergency contact (shown by two asterisks**).

Use the other family members' pencils to check the contact information for each member. You will be able to set which mailing lists they belong to (JB, chapter, delegation, alumni, and/or community news) and their CISV Role.

CISV Role

For each family member, you must specify their role in the chapter. New users do this as they are prompted to add family members. Returning families should use the pencil to the left of members' names to check that the roles are set properly. These roles determine whether a family member will participate in local chapter events (JB), apply for a program (Delegate, Leader, or Staff), help run the chapter (Volunteer), or act in a supporting role (Emergency or Reference).

Membership, Event, and Mini-camp Registration

Use the Register link on your Family Page. The registration page lists all local programs that are currently open. Reminder: only the main contact has the ability to register.

If your child is not listed on the registration page, set their CISV Role as JB. When a member is set as JB, the Medical Info section of the Family Page will be completed. This includes the participant's age and health card number as well as details on medical conditions, dietary restrictions, and behavioural considerations.

Volunteers

CISV is a volunteer-run organization. To volunteer, check off Volunteer as your CISV Role. This will bring up the Volunteer Interest Survey which includes police check and first aid certification. Note that high school students can earn community hours, and that families of program applicants commit to volunteering as per the Volunteer Policy.

If you have questions about the online registration system, please contact the site administrator. If you have questions about the programs, please contact info at cisvottawa.ca.
