Silly Chili is an opportunity when we meet our delegations, meet eachother, hear about the winter adventures and get excited about the adventures that await!
When: Saturday, March 28, 2019
Where: Churchill Seniors Centre Main Hall, 345 Richmond Road, same place as First Delegation Meeting.
Who: All CISV Ottawa members and families and friends welcome!
What: Come on out and meet this year’s travelling delegation! All 2020 delegations, leaders & individual delegates will be there to present a fun skit about their program. Also 2019-2020 India Village delegation and JC will present their “Travel Tales” about their experience!
Food: It’s a potluck!
Don’t forget to bring your own dishes!!!! Plate/bowl, cutlery, cup!!!!!
Please bring food to share according to the first letter of your delegate’s last name:
A – H : Chili (Meat or Vegetarian, you decide! Be creative!)
I – R : Salad & Buns (and maybe butter)
S – Z : Drinks & Dessert
Note: Please bring a card indicating key ingredients of your items in case of food intolerances.
Timing: 4pm: Delegates and Leaders meet to plan/practice their skits/presentations
5pm: Families arrive, set up, eat dinner, JB elections/new board announcements
6:30-8pm: Meet our delegations! Travel Tales from 2019-2020 India Village and JC. Fun & silly skits to help us get to know the 2020 delegates..
8pm: CISV song, cleanup and leave – thank you!!!
We can’t wait to see you all there for a fun get-together, and a yummy meal!
