Where: The camp will be held at St John’s Ukrainian Church camp in Val-des-Monts, QC which is around an hour’s drive from Ottawa. Transportation provided to and from the Walmart parking lot on the west side of the Billings Bridge shopping centre in Ottawa (see map below).
—Drop off: Friday, June 7th at 5pm sharp (the buses will leave at 5:30pm)
—Pick up: Sunday, June 9th at 12:30pm
—Note: Mini Camp is mandatory for those who are travelling this summer on international programs.
What is Mini Camp?
Mini camps typically include various activities such as team-building exercises, games, discussions, and workshops focused on themes like peace education, intercultural understanding, and global citizenship. Mini camps offer a glimpse into the larger CISV experience.
